Can Tantra Work Online?

The room changes online, yet the heart of an individual Tantra session remains: conversation, attention and guided practice.

Yesterday I facilitated a beautiful individual Tantra session. The only photograph I have is the one I took just before the woman arrived.

I love becoming one small piece of the path for people who are beginning to discover Tantra. Individual sessions contain so much life: deep conversations flow naturally into practices with just as much depth.

At the end of this session, I noticed something clearly. Working in person lets me prepare the room myself, which I enjoy. Yet the essence of the session also works online. Sometimes the online format even feels easier because a person can relax without worrying about being seen or heard. They can always turn the camera off.

People are often surprised that I offer Tantra sessions online. The conversation can still go deep as we gently explore the person’s intention for the session, their relationship with Tantra and what is happening in their life.

The practice can carry the same depth. My role is to facilitate: I explain the structure, guide the process and do the practice alongside them. I respect the person’s inner space and share my own presence without pushing into theirs.

Knowledge makes this possible. I know these practices and can speak about Tantra with depth. I studied with experienced international teachers and in Indian ashrams. I learned dynamic meditation at the Osho International Meditation Resort in Pune, and I hold two formal Tantra teaching qualifications.

I rarely speak about that part of my background, but it shapes the quality of what I offer.
