Hallelujah and the Female Orgasm

A taxi ride, a familiar song and the sudden thought that hallelujah might also name the highest point of female pleasure.

I was riding through the city in a taxi at night, listening to Hallelujah, when I suddenly heard it as a song about the female orgasm.

Hallelujah as the cry of a peak moment, the highest state, the deepest prayer. Like a woman crying “God” or “Oh my God” at the height of pleasure.

There is so much Tantra in that hallelujah.

Something shifted inside me after the first of January. Everything seemed to move into place, and I understood clearly who I wanted to work with, how I wanted to work and which questions I wanted to explore.

For three days, I tried the words out whenever I met someone new and they asked what I did.

“I’m a psychologist and I teach Tantra. I work with women and couples, exploring sexuality and emotional intimacy in relationships.”

Each time I said it, I felt a warm response inside, like the final piece of a puzzle had found its place.

Throughout 2024, I experimented with many ways of working with people, different sessions and different approaches. At the very end of the year, the shape became clear.

I want our meeting to begin with tea. Authentic Relating practices help us create closeness and emotional presence. From there, we move into embodied practices shaped by the person’s intention.

The timing made me laugh: just as this clarity arrived, I was preparing to leave Kazan.
