2. What information we collect
Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:
- Your name, email address, Telegram username or other contact details you choose to provide.
- Messages, questions and other information you submit through contact, event or session forms.
- Information provided as part of an event application or interview process where this is relevant to participation.
- Your email address and subscription preferences when you ask to receive event updates, news or a resource from us.
- Information about where an enquiry or subscription came from, for example the event or service page from which a form was submitted.
- Technical information processed as part of providing and protecting the website, such as IP address, request and log information, browser or user-agent information.
- If you accept analytics cookies, information about how the website is used, such as pages viewed, interactions, approximate location, device and browser information, and the page or service that referred you to us.
The website does not process payment-card details.
Please do not include health information, details about your sexual life, trauma history or other sensitive personal information in a general contact form unless it is genuinely relevant to your request. If we need sensitive information for a specific service, we will ask only for information that is reasonably necessary and handle it with additional care.
3. How and why we use personal data
We use personal data to:
- Respond to your questions and communicate with you.
- Manage enquiries, applications and registrations for events, workshops and individual sessions.
- Assess eligibility for events that use an application or interview process.
- Send practical information connected with an event or service.
- Send event updates, news or requested resources when you have asked to receive them.
- Operate, secure and troubleshoot the website and its forms.
- Understand which pages are useful and improve the website, but only where you have consented to analytics.
- Maintain reasonable business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect the legitimate rights and safety of participants, the organiser and third parties.
Depending on the circumstances, processing may be based on your consent, steps you ask us to take in connection with a service, performance of an agreement, compliance with a legal obligation, or our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the project and communicating with people who contact us.
4. Event and session forms
We use website forms to receive enquiries and applications. These may ask for information such as your name, email or Telegram contact, a message or question, and information relevant to a particular event. Some events may use additional application questions where this is reasonably necessary for the format or participant selection.
Website form submissions are stored and processed through Netlify Forms. When a verified submission is received, Netlify sends an email notification to Olga and triggers a server-side notification to the private Togetherness — Applications Telegram group through the Togetherness Applications bot. The notification contains the information submitted in the form so Olga can respond and manage the request.
5. Email updates
If you subscribe to event updates, news or a requested resource, we use your contact information to provide what you asked for and to manage your subscription. Marketing communications are optional. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe option in the email or by contacting olgavolshinets@gmail.com.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before consent was withdrawn.
6. Who may process your information
We use service providers where reasonably necessary to run the website and communicate with you. These include Netlify for website hosting, form storage and submission email notifications, Telegram for private operational notifications containing form submissions, and Google Analytics for optional website-use analytics after consent.
Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services in its privacy information for partner sites.
Website source code may be stored on GitHub, but GitHub is not used by us as a database for visitor enquiries or application submissions.
We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to a lawful request, establish or defend legal claims, or protect the rights and safety of people involved.
7. International processing
The business operating this website is registered in Georgia, while services are offered in Serbia, and technology providers including Netlify, Telegram and Google may process information in other countries. Your personal data may therefore be processed internationally.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate contractual, organisational or legal safeguards.
8. How long we keep information
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing services, responding to enquiries, administering events, maintaining appropriate business records, resolving disputes and meeting legal obligations.
Subscription information is normally retained while you remain subscribed, together with any limited information reasonably needed to respect an unsubscribe request or meet legal obligations.
9. Security
We take reasonable organisational and technical measures designed to protect personal data from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. No internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on the law that applies to you and the circumstances of the processing, you may have rights to receive information about how your data is used, access your data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion or restriction where applicable, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, and complain to a competent data-protection authority.
To make a privacy request, email olgavolshinets@gmail.com. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity before completing a request.
11. Cookies and website technology
We use the technical functionality necessary to operate and secure the website. This includes local browser storage used to remember your cookie choice. We do not use the website to process payment-card information. Information automatically handled by our hosting infrastructure may include technical request and log data needed to deliver and protect the site.
Google Analytics is optional and is not loaded unless you choose Accept all in the cookie banner. If you accept, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id> to distinguish visits and measure website use. Advertising storage, Google Signals and ad-personalisation features are disabled.
You can choose Reject all without losing access to the website. You can change your choice later through in the footer. Rejecting or withdrawing analytics consent prevents future analytics collection in this browser; withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before withdrawal.
12. External links
The website may contain links to independent services such as Instagram and Telegram. If you follow those links, the relevant third party’s own privacy practices apply.
13. Adults
Our Tantra, conscious-sexuality and intimate bodywork services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly solicit children’s personal data for participation in these services.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, website functionality or legal obligations change. The current version will be published on tantrabelgrade.com with the date of the latest update.
