Am I Too Esoteric?

My spiritual path belongs to me. People can leave its language behind and still meet the honesty, embodiment and connection I found there.

People sometimes want to join my practice, read my channel and decide that I am too esoteric for them.

I hear this most often in Belgrade. It happens.

Yesterday, I led an Authentic Relating practice there and joked that the incense stick was its only esoteric element. Even in my Tantra classes, I use very little mystical language, although words such as energy and flow occasionally appear.

Here is what I want people to understand: my spiritual path belongs to me.

You never have to adopt it. You can simply notice what I found along the way and decide whether any of those qualities matter to you.

I am a witch, a shaman and a priestess. I am also a psychologist, Tantra teacher and facilitator of cacao ceremonies and Authentic Relating.

That is the full package.

All these parts belong to me, and I choose to show them. Some people may turn away after reading my writing. That simply means I am the wrong guide for them. They can find someone whose way feels right.

I write about my path because many people are searching too. A useful idea in marketing says that your ideal client may resemble who you were three to five years ago.

At that time, I was asking who I wanted to become. I wanted balance and a quality I would later call contact with myself. I wanted calm, satisfaction, honest closeness, meaning and depth.

Tantra gave me ways to experience all of these.

Greater physical sensitivity and a more orgasmic body arrived as side effects. So did a fuller sense of myself as a woman, with many inner archetypes: the Amazon, priestess, witch and Great Mother. I found confidence, love for myself, trust in the world and deeper empathy for the people I meet.

Tantra answered many of the questions I carried five years ago. It continues to meet the questions I have today.

My practices offer a simple invitation: look at what I discovered. It helped me; perhaps some part of it can help you.

A friend who is agnostic recently asked what I believe.

I believe we came into this world to play. I experience us as spiritual beings living through human bodies. Human life feels rich with touch, scent, taste, sound, sunlight on skin, drops of ocean water, poetry, music, sex and another person’s gaze.

I want to take part fully and feel every drop of it.
